Request Your Quote Within 24 HoursSuper Duplex S32760 pipe fittings are specified when project conditions demand a higher-PRE super duplex grade with tungsten and copper additions. Metinox Overseas supplies Zeron 100 elbows, tees, reducers, caps, bends, crosses, adapters and stub ends for high-chloride, sour service, offshore, chemical, and subsea piping systems.
Super Duplex S32760 Pipe Fittings are made in accordance with UNS S32760, the super duplex alloy developed under the trade name Zeron 100. These fittings are available as part of our comprehensive Super Duplex Pipe Fittings range, which includes the highest-performing grades in the duplex family.
UNS S32760 is unique because intentional tungsten content of 0.5 to 1.0% and copper content of 0.5 to 1.0% are added to the base chemistry of 25Cr-7Ni-3.5Mo. Super Duplex S32760 has a Pitting Resistance Equivalent (PRE) of 41 and higher. Tungsten dissolves at the base of an active corrosion pit and can re-precipitate as a tungsten oxide film, helping prevent pit propagation by limiting chloride ion attack. This tungsten pit arrest mechanism is the key to improved performance of S32760 compared to S32750 in hot concentrated seawater and acid chloride service.

Zeron 100 fittings NACE MR0175 compliance requires solution annealing at 1050 to 1120 degrees C followed by water quench. No conventional post-weld heat treatment is permitted because it risks sigma phase precipitation. Weld repairs must follow a qualified WPS per ASME Section IX or ISO 3834 using ER2594 filler wire with inter-pass temperature not exceeding 150 degrees C.

Send RFQ to Metinox OverseasUNS S32760 is a 25Cr-7Ni-3.5Mo-0.7W-0.7Cu super duplex stainless steel with a PRE value above 41. Commonly known as Zeron 100, it offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride-rich environments.
S32760 contains 0.5-1.0% tungsten and 0.5-1.0% copper in addition to the standard super duplex composition. These additions improve corrosion resistance in hot seawater and aggressive chloride environments. S32750 is more widely available and generally costs less.
The PRE value of S32760 is typically 41-42. It is calculated using the formula PRE = Cr + 3.3(Mo + 0.5W) + 16N. The tungsten content contributes additional resistance to pitting corrosion.
Yes. UNS S32760 is listed in NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 Part 3 for sour service applications. Compliance requires solution annealing, water quenching, and a maximum hardness of 270 HBW.
Super Duplex S32760 pipe fittings are manufactured to ASTM A815 / ASME SA815. ASME B16.9 covers buttweld fittings, MSS-SP-75 covers large-diameter fittings, and ASME B16.11 applies to socket weld and threaded fittings.
S32760 pipe fittings are widely used in offshore oil and gas platforms, subsea systems, desalination plants, flue gas desulfurization units, chemical processing plants, and high-chloride seawater piping systems where superior corrosion resistance is required.
