As a reputable super duplex S32750 fittings supplier, Metinox Overseas serves procurement engineers and project buyers in the Middle East, Europe, South-East Asia and the Americas. Our Super Duplex Pipe Fittings range encompasses all of the wrought grades and S32750 is our most popular grade for chloride-rich applications. It comes with a nominal chemistry of 25% chromium and 7% nickel, which is a much more resistant grade of duplex than most grades.
Request a Quote now!Super duplex 2507 is a high alloy dual phase (50/50) stainless steel. The grade is designated UNS S32750 and its commercial designation is inspired by its nominal composition of 25% Chromium (Cr) and 7% Nickel (Ni) with a small amount of Molybdenum (Mo) (3 to 5%) and Nitrogen (N) (0.24 to 0.32%).
The typical PRE value for UNS S32750 ranges from 42 to 43, well above the 40 minimum value required for the classification super duplex. The procurement engineer's go-no-go test is a heat that has a PRE of below 40, regardless of UNS. Compared with Duplex 2205, S32750 has a PRE of around 35, making it the grade of preference in applications that require greater resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, due to higher chloride concentrations, operating temperature or pressure ratings. These super duplex 2507 pipe fittings are available as seamless or welded buttweld fittings per ASTM A815, as well as socket weld and threaded fittings per ASME B16.11, from ourSuper Duplex Pipe Fittingsportfolio.
