SS 304H Seamless Pipes are made of high-carbon austenitic SS with an approximate percentage of chromium of about 18-20% and nickel of about 8-11%, and also it has high percentage of carbon, other than the stainless steel 304/304L grades. This moderated chemical mixture enhances strength and stability in high temperatures and corrosion environments. Chromium gives it resistance to oxidation and low levels of corrosive conditions, whereas nickel increases toughness and ductility. Continuous construction also means that the structures are uniform and remove weld lines, which are sources of weaknesses and this means that the pipes are fit to handle critical services. SS 304H seamless pipes are ideal for high-temperature applications, have good mechanical properties, and can easily deal with pressure. Manufacturing Process of SS 304H Seamless Pipes

The manufacturing process of SS 304H Seamless Pipes is well defined and controlled to offer a high strength and stability to the pipes to be used in high-temperature applications.

Raw Material Selection

Billets made of high-carbon SS are obtained in the ISO-certified mills in order to maintain the right chemical composition, strength, and heat resistance according to the SS 304H standards.

Billet Heating & Piercing

The billets are heated in high temperatures and punched to create hollow tubes with no weld seams which guarantee high structural integrity and consistency.

Mandrel Drawing & Sizing

The hollow pipes are pulled over the mandrels to obtain the required outer diameter, wall thickness and length as stipulated by ASTM standards.

Solution Heat Treatment
