Metinox Overseas provides Stainless Steel 310H tubes that are in line with international standards of quality and provide high performance in extreme applications. These tubes work well in reducing such as when they are exposed to sulphuric acids and environments full of chlorides. SS 310H tubes are manufactured with an austenitic structure, which provides them with great toughness and strength and is therefore a very popular material in other industrial applications. They are well resistant to corrosion and therefore their value performance is good, thus they can be applied in freshwater environments that contain low chloride levels. These tubes are heat treated to some 1652degC and subjected to additional processes of hot-working so as to obtain the desired mechanical properties.

The stainless steel 310H tubes have between 16-24 percent chromium, about 35 percent nickel and low levels of manganese and carbon, which are controlled. Machining is done with the best outcomes with heavier feed rates, slower cutting speeds, hard and strong tooling, sharp cutting edges, and good lubrication. Annealing of the tubes to increase their resistance to corrosion is done in temperatures around 1038degC and then there is water tempering followed by quenching and other heat treatment. These tubes come in the thickness of the wall of between 0.35 mm and 6.35 mm and in size 1/8 NB to 30" NB. End finishes are plain end, threaded end and bevelled end with lengths being single random lengths, twin random lengths and cut lengths.
