The SS 304L welded pipes are an elite version with extra-low carbon content in the austenitic family. They show excellent resistance to corrosion as well as intergranular corrosion. These pipes can sustain temperatures up to 899° C. They can also sustain 816° C if the conditions of exposure are not constant. The SS 304L is the low-carbon version of SS 304 and also does not require annealing after welding. This is very useful where stress as well as corrosive conditions exist.
