Types of Nickel Alloy Flanges

1. Weld Neck Flange (WN)
The pipe is welded with the flange neck which offers good stress distribution and strength. Best suited to high pressure high temperature systems and is typically applied in chemical, petrochemical, power and marine applications.
2. Slip-On Flange (SO)
The pipe is simply inserted in the flange and less welds are needed to install it and it can be easily installed. Best suited to low to medium pressure systems or applications that require high assembly and disassembly.
3. Blind Flange (BL)
A straight flange that does not have a hole in the center, applied to close the ends of the pipes or the interfaces of equipment. Used in pressure testing or blocking or temporary sealing of pipelines used in industrial systems.
4. Socket Weld Flange (SW)
The pipe is plugged in the flange and welded to form strong joints in the small-diameter and high-pressure pipelines. Applied in systems that need to be sealed tightly and last long.
5. Threaded Flange (TH)
Fits on the pipeline through threads, which requires no welding. It can be used on special settings or where temporary installations are needed or where the welding process cannot be done.
6. Lap Joint Flange (LAPJ)
They are used in conjunction with stub ends and can be freely rotated to make assembly and disassembly easier. Perfect to the pipeline that needs frequent maintenance or inspection.
