The Hastelloy X Pipe Fittings (UNS N06002) are designed using a solid-solution strengthened nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum superalloy matrix that provides high mechanical load bearing capacity and resistance to oxidation in severe thermal systems up to 2200°F (1204°C). The alloy matrix has the best resistance to chloride induced stress corrosion cracking (SCC), high ambient ductility and reduced creep distortion profiles over extended service time at high temperatures and cryogenic applications.
