ASTM A815 UNS S31803 Pipe Fittings represent premium-quality duplex stainless steel fittings that have been developed for use in applications where strength and corrosion resistance are important factors to consider. With a microstructure comprising around 50% ferrite and 50% austenite, this material provides almost double the strength that is typical of standard stainless steels such as 316L, along with great resistance to stress corrosion from chlorides. Comprising 21-23% chromium, 2.5-3.5% molybdenum, and controlled amounts of nitrogen, S31803 has a PREN rating of about 30-33, making it suitable for aggressive service conditions. Our range of ASTM A815 S31803 pipe fittings at Metinox Overseas is produced with stringent quality assurance processes and traceability to international standards.
