Alloy 20 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that has a high nickel content of around 32 to 38 to be used specifically in high resistance to sulfuric acid and corrosion that occurs due to chloride. Copper also helps in increasing its resistance to sulfuric acid attack greatly and molybdenum and chromium also help in improving the pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. UNS N08020 (Niobium-stabilized Alloy 20) is also an added structural stability alloy and reduces intergranular corrosion during welding.   • Selection of Raw Materials
    High-quality nickel, chromium, molybdenum, copper and iron are used to produce alloy 20. The balanced chemical composition is also carefully maintained to offer excellent resistance against sulfuric acid, pitting corrosion and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking.
  • Melting & Refining Process
    The chemical homogeneity, low impurity content and corrosion resistance are achieved through the advanced melting techniques, which include Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) and then followed by Argon Oxygen Decarburization (AOD) or Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM).
  • Pipe & Tube Forming
    The alloy 20 pipes and tubes are produced by the method of seamless extrusion or welded fabrication. Hot rolling and cold drawing processes guarantee tight dimensional tolerances, even wall thickness and clean surface finish.
  • Heat Treatment & Annealing
