Titanium Grade 2 is a commercially pure titanium alloy that is characterized by outstanding corrosion resistance, high strength-to-weight ratio and long-term performance in harsh industrial conditions. It is highly resistant to seawater, chlorides, acidic media and oxidizing chemicals, hence a very reliable material to be used in demanding applications. Titanium Grade 2 Flanges are popular in piping systems where corrosion prevention, longevity and structural stability are of great importance. The flanges are highly effective in chemically hostile and moist conditions, and hence the connections are leak-free and have a long life cycle. They are typically used in chemical treatment plants, desalination plants, offshore and marine systems, offshore buildings and structures, power stations, heat exchangers, cooling water, pharmaceutical, and oil and gas facilities.
Titanium Grade 2 flanges are produced according to the international requirements, such as the ASTM B381 / UNS R50400 requirements and are composed of forged and rolled titanium to give high-capacity piping components. They possess excellent corrosion and pitting, crevice attack and stress corrosion cracking resistance; in addition, they have good mechanical strength and thermal stability. These flanges are most suited in systems that involve seawater, chemicals, high humidity, and other aggressive environments in the industries, owing to the fact that they are lightweight and very durable. Titanium Grade 2 Flanges can be used extensively in seawater pipelines, chemical processing units, marine engineering, offshore platforms, desalination plant systems, heat exchangers, condenser systems, pharmaceutical plant systems, and high-purity industrial piping systems where reliability, safety, and long service life are paramount.

The titanium Grade 2 flanges are commonly applied to type of industries where corrosion resistance, strength, purity and long service life are critical to the reliable operation in harsh conditions. They find extensive use in chemical processing facilities in reactors, pipelines and heat exchangers that receive corrosive media; in maritime and offshore applications in seawater pipelines, offshore platforms and coastal infrastructure because of their superior performance in saltwater corrosion-resistant applications; and in desalination plants in seawater intake systems, condensers, and evaporators. They are also applied in power generation in cooling water lines, condensers and heat exchangers that are exposed to heat and moisture and in medical and pharmaceutical applications, they back high-purity and sterile piping systems. Titanium Grade 2 flanges have also been used in oil and gas plants as offshore platforms, sub-sea pipeline, and processing units, in water treatment plants and wastewater plants such as the use of chemical dosing systems and corrosive fluid transfer systems, in laboratory and high-purity applications such as precision chemical handling systems, and in aerospace and defense applications such as fuel systems, hydraulic lines, cooling systems and mechanical assemblies where lightweight strength, life and reliability are critical.
They are pipe flanges made from commercially pure titanium (Grade 2), known for strength, corrosion resistance, and durability.
Yes, they perform very well in seawater and salty environments due to excellent corrosion resistance.
Yes, they can handle moderately high temperatures and maintain good strength and stability.
