About the grade SS 316Ti
The SS 316Ti is pure untarnished steel made marine grade but with a slight addition of titanium (0.05%) and molybdenum. This is a slight addition that causes the steel precipitation to be free at high temperatures. It is corrosion resistant after addition of molybdenum and does not pit against chloride solutions. It also increases its strength in the high-temperature environment, as such, SS 316ti EFW Pipes are suggested where the temperature is very high that cannot be tolerated. Its other characteristics like resisting against hydrochloric, sulfuric acids and acid sulfates are the reasons that have rendered it a top choice product in chemical industries.
