Metinox Overseas is a dedicated manufacturer of Stainless Steel 310H EFW Pipe, that offers high-grade piping products that are used in the harshest thermal conditions. Our Stainless Steel 310H EFW Pipe is an alloyed version of our 310S grade (that is, alloyed to have better creep resistance and structural integrity even at temperatures above 1500degF, or 815degC). Although it is preferred 310S which is resistant to oxidation, 310H grade is the standard in the industry in applications of the load bearing in thermal processing. These pipes are also manufactured to ASTM A358 standards and they are essential in internal furnace elements, radiant tubes and hangers of steam boilers. The EFW process enables Metinox to deliver large diameter pipes with high-nickel and high-chromium that can withstand carburizing atmosphere and reducing atmosphere. At present, there is a high demand in the USA and Germany concerning waste-to-energy plant construction which has increased significantly since 2026. The 310H EFW pipes are tested in terms of grain size and mechanical toughness so that they will perform better than standard grades during cyclic heating. These special pipes are exported to other parts of the world with strict safety specifications of oil and gas industries in the Middle East, as well as power industry in Europe.
The developed SS 310H EFW Pipes has various attributes that are inherited in such a way that they find application in other applications in the industries. The quality features are-

Stainless Steel 310H EFW Pipes are austenitic alloys with high carbon content that is specially designed to achieve structural integrity in high temperature service. In contrast to the "S" model, the increase in carbon in 310H gives better creep strength, so such pipes are the standard in the industry when any load has to be carried under extreme conditions of high heat.
They are also commonly used in building new incineration plants where they are used as furnace lining and exhaust gas ducting and can resist corrosive flue gases.
Essential for superheater tubes, steam boiler hangers, and radiant tubes that operate continuously at temperatures up to 1150 deg C.
These are used in catalytic recovery systems, thermal reactors, and flare tips where resistance to carburizing and reducing atmospheres is of vital concern.
These are used in heat treatment furnaces in which thermal cycling is continuous and conveyor belts, roller hearths, and muffle tubes are used.
These are used in high temperature kilns such as those used in the cement industry and ceramic industries, which have a very good resistance against oxidation and sulfur dioxide emissions.
At cryogenic temperatures, in spite of its heat sensitive behavior the austenitic structure is tough and non-magnetic which permits its special applications in the transportation of liquefied gases.
Being one of the best Stainless Steel 310H EFW Pipe Manufacturers, Metinox Overseas has a combination of a modern metallurgical testing and the capability of manufacturing in large volumes to supply the 2026 worldwide infrastructure explosion.

The major difference is the content of carbon. 310H has a larger and controlled content of carbon (0.04-0.10%), which offers much better creep strength and high-temperature structural stability than the low-carbon 310S version.
SS 310H has a fine oxidation resistance and can be used in continuous service up to 1150C. SS 310H also scales when frequently exposed to temperatures between 1600C and 1700C because of carbide formation.
Radiography is based on the Class to be used. ASTM A358 Class 1 and Class 3 demand 100% radiography of the weld seam. Class 2 and 4 do not demand radiography unless requested by the buyer. Metinox suggests the use of Class 1 in high pressure thermal applications, which are critical.
That is, it is very resistant to sulfidation and oxidation because of high chromium content (24-26%) and, thus, it is the right choice when sulfur dioxide gas exists at high temperatures.
310H is similar to most austenitic grades, which are highly chromium containing, in that it can develop Sigma Phase embrittlement when subjected to such temperatures. Intermediate range solution annealing is recommended to restore the ductility of such materials once treated to such temperatures in the 565C to 900C range.
We offer complete documentation, such as MTC according to EN 10204 3.1, Radiography Test Reports, PMI reports, and Grain Size Certificates which guarantee complete adherence to the international standards of safety.
